CATT attends the 2008 Baltimore Region TIM Conference


The CATT employee Tom Jacobs helped organize and attended the 2008 Baltimore Region Traffic Incident Management (TIM) Conference on April 15, 2008.

The conference which was held at the Pikesville, Maryland Volunteer Fire Hall was well attended by field-level responders, first-level supervisors, and other transportation officials from all over Maryland.

This year’s theme was Keeping Yourself Safe So You Can Keep Others Safe, Jacobs represented the CATT by speaking about current research initiatives such as the CATT Lab's Virtual Incident Management Training, Regional Integrated Transportation Information System (RITIS), Evacuation Modeling, and the Capital Wireless Information Network (CapWIN).
